Progress in prevention and treatment of atherosclerosis by traditional Chinese medicine components and compound formulas intervening in macrophage autophagy

摘要:

动脉粥样硬化(As)严重威胁人类健康,现代医学在治疗上面临诸多局限。中药成分与复方通过调控巨噬细胞自噬,发挥抗炎、抗氧化、调节脂质代谢、稳定斑块的作用,在抗动脉粥样硬化方面具有独特优势。文章综述了中药调控巨噬细胞自噬防治动脉粥样硬化的应用,为中药成分与复方应用于动脉粥样硬化的治疗提供新的思路。

Abstract:

Atherosclerosis (As) poses a serious threat to human health, and modern medicine still faces many limitations in its treatment of this disease. However, components and compounds of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) have unique advantages in anti-atherosclerosis by regulating macrophage autophagy, they exert anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidation, lipid metabolism-regulating and plaque-stabilizing effects. This paper reviews the application of TCM in regulating macrophage autophagy to prevent and treat atherosclerosis, and provides new insights into the application of TCM components and compounds in the treatment of As.
